SmartEmail ErrorCode 505: Update failed, interaction does not support updating

H!

Now I have the SmartEmail integration instance in SM 9.50

I want to set up "interaction" admission to the work of a specialist from the Email message.

By offline instruction, I added a button to the form and set up action.

I'm interested in the "Сategorization" phase - > "Work In Process" by email action. 

As I understand, I need to enable the current status to receive the update. Could you tell me please how to do this?

I don't know if I amd understand correctly your concern, but I found the next information in the Help Server:

Note: If you cannot save the workflow, you may need to copy the workflow (Tailoring >Process Designer >Copy Existing Workflow), add the new rule set, and then save. Also you need to change the workflow for the incident, problem, or request category to the new copied workflow.

Please list the exact steps being taken to configure this then at what point does the error occur.

I have this instruction. And in it, I can not find how to put the status "InProcess" for the "Interaction".
My idea is that - support specialists can take in the work the "Interaction" from email agent without going to the Service Manager site for the take to work a new Interaction or incident.

How can I do this?

In which phase is the interaction you want to update ? It's not allowed for all phases to do updates (e.g. closed records cannot be updated). The return code 505 is defined in ScriptLibrary SmartEmailReturnCode: ACTION_ERROR: "505", ACTION_ERROR is used in ScriptLibraries SmartEmailSMAdapter SmartEmailSMHelper You should find more information in your log file.
