User Management Service Manager SOAP

Jump to solution

I am trying to determine, search through forum did not yeild info, if the web service supports a user restting thier password in Service Manager via a SOAP request.

I need to be able to allow a user via an external authentication system the ability to reset thier password without using HP GUI or Applications. The would be integration into a clients custom internal systems that manage security.

Any ideas or comments appreciated.

Hi,

Try below WSDL path:

http://<hpsmserver>:<smport>/SM/7/FSCManagement.wsdl

Also operator password field is exposed in this.

To propose a possible scenerio: Can a SOAP request be made of the system_user table and offer a password at that time for reset?

Thanks,
