Is it possible to use Deployment Manager to upgrade a customized SM 9.33 installation to SM 9.4x with/with out Process Designer enabled?

Greetings.
Deployment manager is mostly used to automatically install an OOB system, if you have a customized system and you will like to keep the customizations you will need to use the Upgrade Utility Tool in the upgrade guide so you can have a custom upgrade.
