Varchar value changes to "Non-Decrypted-Password" when saving device form

Jump to solution

Hi,

When saving a device (joincomputer) we have a varchar field which changes to "non decrypted password" after inputting a new value and saving. Checked the dbdicts and data encrypted is not checked off, do not see anything in the SL or DS which may cause this. I would like to avoid using a new field. So far i've only been able to reproduce it on the Web client. Are there any places I can check device 'update' or the field itself regarding this behaviour?

Thanks!

It's not that unfortunately.. password is not checked off and nothing looks different in the properties

Just an idea:  Look up the formats that have the field in Forms Designer.  Click on the field, and see if the Password property is checked...
