Web Service - Remove Basic Authentication header

Hi,

I am using SM 7.11.462.

I need to consume a web service and no authentication is required.

As such, i need to remove the 'Authorization' header in the request.

I checked the documents but can't find a way to remove it.

Please advise if it is possible to remove the header, and how to if possible.

Thanks.

Re: Web Service - Remove Basic Authentication header

If you are creating a client based on SM's WSDL, then providing a login/password (or using TSO) is required.

If you are consuming a 3rd-party WSDL into SM, then review the ScriptLibrary record generated by the Run WSDL to JS utility.

Re: Web Service - Remove Basic Authentication header

I have reviewed the generated scriptlibrary of the  3rd-party WSDL.

The invoke function uses a SM built-in fuction 'doSOAPRequest' that have userid and password as the parameters.

I have no control on doSOAPRequest.

Please advise further.

Thanks.
