What Java version should I be using?

I'm running SD 4.5, SP17.

Can anybody tell me what the reccomended Java version is for this installation please?

I recomend you to use pacage j2sdk-1_4_2_09-windows-i586-p .

Ass far as I remember this is last version, supported by HP.

You can dowload it there http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html

hi!

I strongle recomed you to use the same Java which is shipped along with SD.

We had a lot of issues when we tried to move start Service Pages in HTTPS, since we were using differnet version of Java.

Still, i wish i could use the new Java!!!

Wouldn't that be the version of Tomcat for Service Pages? Just wondering...

j2sdk-1_3_1_03-win.exe and j2re-1_3_1_03-win-i.exe are the two came with our SD Pack.
