Hi, as I noticed, this process start before all other applications (look sm.log). I think this something like a first process for SM at all, which start all others.

Linker mainly takes care of ticket relations processing, setting status and so on...

The official definition from the help server is "This process manages related calls to closed incidents".

My observation is that it also plays a role when an interaction/call is related to an IM ticket -- the linker process will go back and update the screlate record to Open - Linked, which is then reflected back in the interaction/call.
