assignment in interaction from service catalog

hello there, 

i set the assignment group in the service catalog item, but once i submit the assignment is defaulted to service desk , i removed the default value from the env record , then i got nothing . although the assignment is set in the item.

 

also when i itry to get the manager name even for the default group i am not getting the value , unless i fill the assignment group record, its being displayed but not filled .

i am using hosm 9.4 and process designer
