clocks for assignee

Jump to solution

Hi Experts,

WE currently have clocks configured for IM module for the field Assignment , in the similiar way we need to configure the clock for assignee field too , please suggest how could we acheive this using format ctrl.

Please confirm whether apm.stop.clock and apm.start.clock should be initiated once again for assignee field in format control ..

fc-probsummary_new_forclocks

subroutines- apm.stop.clock
Stop Macro Clock
name:problem
prompt:assignment in $file0
query:number in $file
sting1: stop

Update:assignment in $file0~=NULL and not (same(assignment in $file, assignment in $file0))

or problem.status in $file="Resolved"

Delete:true

subroutines- apm.start.clock
Start Macro Clock
name:problem
prompt:assignment in $file
query:number in $file

Update:not (same(assignment in $file, assignment in $file0)) and not ((problem.status in

$file) isin {"Resolved", "Closed"}) or problem.status in $file0="Resolved" and not

((problem.status in $file) isin {"Resolved", "Closed"})

Add:not (null(assignment in $file))

I don't understand why you would call clocks from format control subroutines, actually. It is simpler to define Start Clock/Stop Clock macros (Tailoring > Tailoring Tools > Mactos) in a classic build or use clock rulesets in process designer.

The biggest error I see with starting a clock is not setting the macro condition so that it will evaulate at open in addition to when the value is changed. Using an expression like:

not null(assignee.name in $L.new and alert.status in $L.new="open" or not null(assignee.name in $L.new and not same(assignee.name in $L.new, assignee.name in $L.old)

Hi John,

Unable to call from PD since cant restict the the condition ,

I have got many errors when executing thrugh Macors, so tried using fc, the issue is only during clock stop.
