disable case sensitive in SM

We have SM 9.51 on Windows environment. We have MSSQL database which is installed in case insensitive mode.

Observed that while searching anything in SM its searching as case sensitive (contacts, operators, KM document etc.).

I have no clue how and why SM is searching in case sensitive mode.

Looking for suggestion to disable this in SM.

Are you sure this is turned off at the database layer?  I don't think this is something that is set at the app layer.

Stopped SM Service. Have unload all SM files

Backup of existing SM database

deleted SM database

Created new SM database with collation as case insensitive 'SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_As'.

Loaded all unload SM files

and started SM Service.

However during loading of SM files got many errors "for having duplicate rows so failed to insert in table".
