When user trying to sign onto Service Desk 3.0 Sp5 receiving error java.lang.NoClassDefFound: com/hp/ifc/ui/AppDataForm

Any ideas besides re-installing Service Desk from scratch

You can try clearing the cache (removing all the contents of the directory ) and renaming the file forms.dat.
