link relate request ticket via scripting

Hi,

I'm trying to link a request ticket to another request ticket via javascripting. kindly advice how should i go about to do it. I had manage to create a new request ticket with reference to the programming guide, but I didn't saw any doc on how to related to another ticket via scripting.

Since you decided to go custom, what is the problem with add the records directly in screlation?

issues is in the screlation table i notice there is this desc array field, which contain different field information,

Question

1)what is the data in the field used ? 

2)what should I push into these field?

3) if I didn't push any data into this array field will the ticket, will I be able to show the related ticket information from the parent ticket??
