question : Enabling SSL on SM
I am on SM v9.50
SM application is not having trusted sign on enabled so far for client connections. I am looking to enable SSL for couple of bi-directional integrations. Could someone tell me the pre-requisites or high level approach ?.
My web users / win client user connections should remain the same, should be AD authenticated & should not require the need to enable SSL connectivity between web servers / clients to the APP server.
Thanks for your question.
Here you can see a bunch of information from SM 9.50 Help Server:
Enabling SSL on SM
Example: Enabling required SSL encryption
Example: Enabling required SSL encryption and client authentication
Example: Enabling required SSL encryption and trusted clients
Also check the following for further content for SSL in SM: Search "Enabling SSL on SM"
Hope this helps!

I am looking for some inputs on the list of pre requisites to implement my requirement. I will figure out the methods for implementation. May be someone who has done a similar requirement in their environment, can shed some light.
As you said you only need SSL connection for the integration purpose, the process of enabling SSL will remain same for your scenario. Just you need to add extra https port enabled in SM.CFG file and use this https port for your integration purpose. Rest other ports remain http and let the user connecivity happen over not https ports without SSL.
