restful / SOAP inbound message capture

Hi experts,

I was wondering if there's a way to see the incoming SOAP/restful messages on SM side... There's extaccess and I know you can define fields and stuff but is there a way to somehow capture the original incoming payload? ...which is an XML structure or a JSON string? Can I do that? Some local variable, some RAD or anything that gets me to the original payload. As far as I know with debughttp you do see the message in the logs, but I'd need them instantly upon arrival...

Thanks in advance!

BR,

Dávid

Re: restful / SOAP inbound message capture

There is the debugrest parameter you can set in sm.ini or direct in the container start up in sm.cfg:

https://docs.microfocus.com/SM/9.60/Codeless/Content/parameters/reference/paramter_debugrest.htm

Unfortunately that parameter is poorly implemented so the logging is far from verbose. The debughttp writes much more information to the log file (but is no use for REST requests).
