scmail.chk and event sequence number are different : email not sent

Hi,

i'm using SM 9.3 and I have a problem sending emails. when I delete the scmail.chk file and restart the service, the emails are sent. but after a while, the number in the file scmail.chk is different from the  eventout sequence number.

How does the scmail.chk file work ?

Check the chk file, the number above this will only be the one to be processed, anything below will not.

could you please explain to me why the number in this file is lower than the evsysseq in the eventout and in this case  why the notifications are not send.
