Jump to solution
I have service desk 4.5 sp19, i want to join another server to work in cluster with the same DB. but what happen to the attachments?! is the multiple servers mechanism handles this issue? is there a way to save the attachments in the DB instead of the FTP folder?!

Thanks!

Hi,

using multiple servers and attachments are fine. The attachments will be stored on the specific server that the ftp folder is pointing to in OVSD.

hi!

Since you are using the same DB, there won't be any issues. You will not be configuring 2 ftp sites. Don't try to keep the attachmnets in the DB.

Hi

To see where the attachments will be stored you need to look in the admin console > system panel > attachment settings, here you specify which server to store the attachments on.

hi!

You can set the configuration in any of the servers (ie:by connecting to any of the servers). Since the DB is same, which is the latest configuration you mentioned, will take effect.
