Re: service manager cannot start due to memory issues

How you came up with a setting "shared_memory:134217728"? Probably stupid question, but have you tried larger values than that? Or another way, tried to limit the amount of memory IR process takes - by setting a parameter " ir_max_shared" to your sm.ini. As per HPE/MF instructiosn, shared memory free space should be never below 25% an perhaps that's the issue in your case.

Could you post your sm.ini/sm.cfg configs as well?

Re: service manager cannot start due to memory issues

Morning,

shared_memory:134217728 of is the preferred configuration as seen when SM starts.

10208(  6164) 09/18/2017 09:13:29  RTE W The shared memory size 24000000 is less than the recommended size 134217728

I have tried commenting out the share memory parameter so that the system auto allocates but this fails too.

I have attached the requested files to the case.

Regards,

Patrick.

Re: service manager cannot start due to memory issues

At least following looks faulty in sm.ini: system:1308 --> should be system:13080, I assume? Don't know if it changes anything, but worth checking.

I don't know why to tried value 24 000 000, because it's definitely less than 134 217 728. As the sm.log states, free shared memory is constantly below 25%. I'd say trying 240000000 as a shared memory size sound more reasonable?
