svccatalog search for not consistant

Jump to solution

SM9.21 on windows 2008 box.

Hi,

I was wondering whether anyone can advise me on this please:

when our support desk raises an interaction and then escalates it to a non cart item service request, the search for function on svcCatalog.select.large.nc is not working correctly, it'll pick up some of the application names when typed in but not all, also the field doesn't allow searches on partial words either.  The search Category drop down works fine. Can anyone guide me as to where I can go to investigate this.  The db was refresh with a copy of our producton system about  6 weeks ago.  Thanks

Hi,

The search functionality in svccart item page cannot be modifed as it is hard coded in RAD application.

You can enhance its functionality a bit by doing a regen on svccartItem and other related tables.

My suggestion would be to use HP latest relaease of SRC portal. There HP has introduced new dashboards and greatly enhanced search capability of cart items.
