unable to view the columns of "unsuspend time" and "update"

Dear Team,

while we are searching for multiple tickets in a date range, inside the option of "modify columns", we are not able to see the column of "unsuspend date" and the "update", please refer the attached screen shots in this case.

Thanks & Regards

Re: unable to view the columns of "unsuspend time" and "update"

If you check the incidents datadict record, find those fields, and set them to true in the Availability column, they should then be selectable in the Modify Columns screen.

Re: unable to view the columns of "unsuspend time" and "update"

Go to probsummary datadict, search for the field you want to make available, set the condition on the Available column.

Re: unable to view the columns of "unsuspend time" and "update"

@HemantVaswani, no you don't want to change that SQL RC; don't need to change anything in the dbdict to accomplish what you want.

You need to find out what the actual fieldnames are for those fields, as opposed to how they are labeled in the form. The "unsuspend time" and "update" fields may be labeled that way on the screen, but their actual fieldnames may be different. In the thick client, you can put the cursor in those fields and press Control+H to see their fieldnames, if you have that enabled in the client. If you do not, you can look at the actual form being displayed to find the fieldnames. Those fieldnames are what you want to look for in the datadict.

Re: unable to view the columns of "unsuspend time" and "update"

Looking at your screenshots, those are actually variables in the wizard. The $update.action variable should be appending its contents to the update.action (journal updates) field.

To begin with, your screenshot of the wizard shows this is the incidents table, yet you are editing the probsummary datadict. If this is for Interaction tickets, you need to be editing the incidents datadict, not the probsummary datadict. Interaction tickets are saved on the incidents table, while Incident tickets are saved on the probsummary table.

So, in the incidents datadict, try setting the Usage Type column to Data and the Availability column to true for both fields. If this still doesn't work, you may need to do some digging to figure out what the $rdate variable is doing. Just as a note, if the $update.action is appending to the journal, that is probably going to be useless as a column in your report because it will have every journal update made to the ticket, not only the unsuspend remarks.

Re: unable to view the columns of "unsuspend time" and "update"

Hi,

you should not change the "Usage Type" of any field in datadict.
Revert that back to "Application" for the field "unsuspend.time".

How to make the field "Unsuspend Time" available for "Modify Columns" selection:
Modify "Available" parameter for the field in datadict probsummary:
1. login admin user to SM
2. command db
3. Table: datadict
4. select format "datadict" from the list of formats
5. format "Data Policy" is dispayed. Name : probsummary
6. Search
7. scroll down to field "unsuspend.time"
8. click on colum "Available" of line "unsuspend.time" and set this value to true
9. Save
10. Try again to use field "Unsuspend Time" in list of Incidents.

Best regards,
Heike
