update only one foield on the incident form by non assigned group user

Hello All,

Here i wonder if we can allow whatever user to update only one field on the Incident even if this user is not a member on the assigned group . Just i want him to update this field only, without touching any thing on the implemeted work flow ??

The easiest thing might be to create a wizard to allow the user to look up the ticket and then have a format that has just that one field for them to update, and then when they click Finish, you can run some code to go and update the incident.

hope you are doing fine.

Honestly I have never heard a requirement like this, the question is what is the porpuse of it? i can only think on visible condition but would be much work.
