We need to resolve this issue on urgent basis. Require your help.

<UpdateIncidentResponse message="Validation failed" returnCode="71" schemaRevisionDate="2014-04-03" schemaRevisionLevel="1" status="FAILURE"

Hi Team,

The "Validation failed" error message has been resolved and now the response is success.The solution is the Assignee which is one of the attribute for Journal update in HPSM is not member of the Assignment group we have created the same from our end and now the updates are happening succesfully form client's end.

Thanks and Regards,

Mahanti

The exact validation error message should be locate in the messages part of the respons. It should be located at the very end of the response.

In JS-code it would be called like this:

if ( incidentResp.messages.message.length > 0 )
                {
                        for ( i=0;i<incidentResp.messages.message.length;i++ )
                        {
                                print ( "Message: " + incidentResp.messages.message[i].getValue() );
                        }
                }
