Problem:

The following error is reported on starting Manual Testing client and connecting it to SilkCentral Test Manager:

Could not connect to SilkCentral Test Manager
Reason:  com.borland.hemes.core.connectivity.ConnectivityException:Invalid client version
Please update your client.

Resolution:

This error will be reported when trying to connect an older version of Manual Testing client to a later version of SilkCentral Test Manager. To resolve this error message:
 
1. Uninstall the older version of manual testing client from machine
2. Download the latest version from the Silk Central Test Manager | Help | Tools
3. Install the manual testing client downloaded above

The error should no longer occur when starting manual testing client and connecting to Silk Central Test Manager. Test Manager connection settings in the manual testing client can be made from the Window | Preferences menu option.
