Problem:

After changing the defect type name (i.e. BUG, Enhancement) via the Admin Console, why is it not possible to add a severity for the new name?

Resolution:

ANSWER

This is a known issue which arises due to the modification of the defect type names. As a workaround you can rename the defect type names back to the original value. This issue been fixed in SilkCentral Issue Manager 4.0.
