Resolution:

QUESTION
----------------------------------
Are time stamps generated in SCTM based on the system time of the server?

ANSWER
----------------------------------
Time stamps generated in SCTM are not based on the system time of the SCTM server, they are generated based on the configured time zone for that user. Therefore if the time stamps in SCTM do no match your local time you must configure the time zone for your user profile.

- To do this, select "Users" from the "Administration" tree.
- Click on a user to bring up their user details
- You can now change their time zone using the drop downs provided
- Click the "Save" button to save the new time zone and exit the user details screen

The user must then log out, if already logged in, and login again for the changes to take effect. All time stamps now generated by that user will now be reflective of the new time zone they are configured for.
