Can the "configuration" treeview / foldercontent be hidden from non-Administrator users?

Problem:

Can the "configuration" treeview / foldercontent be hidden from non-Administrator users?

Resolution:

ANSWER
----------------------------------
As a SilkCentral administrator, you may be concerned that the presence of the Configuration folder (see figure 1) may compromise the security of your configuration settings

figure 1: configuration folder view, as seen by typical "Analyst" level user

Whilst there is no means of "hiding" the configuration folder in the Issue Manager treeview, access will be based on group permissions so that only administrators will see it. This assures that, for example, an "analyst" will not be able to change, edit or delete something as essential as, for example, routing rules.
