Does the SilkCentral Office Import Tool work with Microsoft Office 2007 applications?

Problem:

Does the SilkCentral Office Import Tool work with Microsoft Office 2007 applications?

Resolution:

Yes, it does. Install the Office Import Tool onto your machine normally and then complete the following steps:

1. In Microsoft Word 2007 create a new document then choose a template from the "My templates" folder. Select either the manual test or requirements template. After that you get a new menu called "add-in". Clicking on it you see the SilkCentral TestManager toolbar buttons
2. In Microsoft Excel 2007 you must customize your toolbar - right click on the toolbar view and select "Customize Quick Access Toolbar". In the upcoming dialog select "Add-ins" on the left side. On the right side you will then see a list of available add-ins. Select Manual Test import and Requirements import and click "Go". You then get the "Add-in" menu where you can see all the SilkCentral TestManager toolbar buttons"
