How can the error "Query <query name> not found" be resolved when running a testplan via SilkCentral TestManager?

Resolution:

QUESTION
----------------------------------

How can the error "Query not found" be resolved when running a testplan via SilkCentral Test Manager?

ANSWER
----------------------------------

This problem can relate to the path to the "testplan.ini" file which SilkCentral Test Manager uses to retrieve queries to be executed within SilkTest. Firstly, ensure that the path specified in the test definition points to the correct folder containing "testplan.ini".

If this path is correct and the problem still occurs, on the SilkTest client machine, open "Options > General". Within the General Options dialogbox, ensure that the correct path to the "testplan.ini" is specified under "Data file for attributes and queries".
