How do I change the global project settings in Silk Central Test Manager?

Resolution:


In order to change the project settings:

1. Having already selected the relevant project, go to "Settings" in the menu tree.

2. Click on the "Project Settings" tab.

3. Click the "Edit" button to modify the current project settings.

4. When the "Edit Project Settings" dialog appears. You can change the following information:

  • Build Information File Name
  • Project Release Date (use format MM/DD/YYYY)
  • File Extensions to ignore in Results. -Note: File extensions must be separated by commas. (e.g. pln, t, inc)

5. Click OK to save your project settings. (Clicking Cancel exits the dialog without saving any changes).
