In SilkCentral Issue Manager, is it possible to restrict access to default buttons like "ReAssign", "Clone Issue" and "Copy to Project"?

Problem:

In SilkCentral Issue Manager, is it possible to restrict access to default buttons like "ReAssign", "Clone Issue" and "Copy to Project"?

Resolution:

It is possible to restrict access to default buttons such as "Clone Issue", "Reassign" or "Copy to Project" for a user in Issue Manager. However access to these features is controlled by the User Group security privileges that a specific User is a member of rather than the indivdual user privileges. With this in mind access privileges have to be defined via the User Group settings as opposed to the Indvidual User settings.

For example; when you access the "Issue Tracking | Tracking" view as a member of the "Tester" or "Analyst" User Group; these buttons are greyed out and unavailable to use, by default.

You must therefore edit the User"s account in order to provide or remove privileges. Please see the SilkCentral Issue Manager Web Help for further information on editing User Security privileges.
