Is it possible to rename a product for active issues only, leaving archived issues with the old product name?

Resolution:

ANSWER
----------------------------------
No, it is not possible to rename a product for active issues only.

The name of the product is stored in the "SCC_Products" table of the database and is read from there for active, as well as for archived issues.

An archived issue and an active issue that are assigned to the same product will always show the same product name.

The only way to do this would be to create a new product with a different name and assign the active issues to this new product. One disadvantage of doing this is that hard-coded product names in queries and notification rules will have to be changed accordingly.
