QUESTION
----------------------------------

When executing tests in SilkCentral Test Manager, why are the execution times always x hours ahead or behind.

ANSWER
----------------------------------

Please refer to resolution When Executing Tests within SilkCentral Test Manager why might the time of the execution be inaccurate? for details on how to set the system time zone and time.

With SilkCentral Test Manager, all of the times of execution are stored on the database in GMT.
The times that are displayed are calculated depending on the time zone that the User has set within their system and also within their User Profile.

To do this, go to Administration / Users.

You should see a list of users, please select the User Profile that you are using.

You will then see a display of information similar to the following. Please ensure that you have selected the right time zone and then save any changes that you have made.
