When using the print feature in Issue Manager why does the printed document appear to be truncated and not contain all of the defect history?

Resolution:

ANSWER
----------------------------------
When viewing a defect In Issue Manager 4.0.1 if you press the "Show printable version" icon followed by the "print" button you will notice that not all of the data contained in the defect history will be printed out and that the data which is printed out appears truncated. This is a known issue which has already be resolved by upgrading to Issue Manager 4 .1

If you do not wish to upgrade to resolve the problem you can workaround the issue by implementing the following advice

  • Go to the report feature in IM and create a report

  • Execute a query based on the report id, e.g.. "DefectID = 11"

  • In the report tab select the and then select "Print Issues" from the drop down list

  • The report should not print normally when you select the "print" button
