Problem:

Why are the legends missing when I view a BIRT report in a PDF printing tool?

Resolution:

This happens if the default browser settings for printing are used. The solution is to enable printing "background color and images" in the browser. This can be done in different browser as follows .


Internet Explorer

a.Goto TOOLS | INTERNET OPTIONS | ADVANCED.

b.Scroll down to Printing section.

c.Check "Print background colors and images"


Mozilla Firefox

a. Goto FILE | PAGE SETUP

b. In the Options section, check "Print Background(colors and images)"
