Question

Why do I get the following error on running an execution?

"Failed to fetch test resources from source control system. Internal details SVN: connections timed out connectorg.tmatesoft.svn.core.svn exception: svn: connection timed out"

Answer

This error tends to occur when the location of the Subversion (SVN) repository is changed to a different machine, irrespective of the fact that SilkCentral Test Manager (SCTM) is pointing to the new location. SCTM should automatically update the change in SVN location but in some cases it does not.

In order to overcome this error, do the following :

1. Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\ApplicationData\Borland\SCC35

2. Delete "SrcCtrlMirrors" folder.

3. Restart the machine.

4. Run the execution again.

The above steps should resolve the issue.

Hello Sir,

I am getting same  kind of error on windows 1o while running test automation test case.

Failed to fetch test sources from source control system. Internal details:

 svn: E200030: READONLY

   org.tmatesoft.svn.core.SVNException: svn: E200030: READONLY

org.tmatesoft.sqljet.core.SqlJetException: READONLY: error code is READONLY

I tried clear cache and reinstalling SVN but still not able to fetch test cases from SVN via SCTM even I have read/write access to SVN.

Can you please let me know if any reason/solution.

Regards,

Sachin
