QUESTION
----------------------------------

Why do I receive a "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError" when I run my telnet scripts?

ANSWER
----------------------------------

If you run a telnet script that fails and the log file states;

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/segue/tm/plugins/testlaunch/telnet/TMTelnetClient
Exception in thread "main"

then you must ensure that you have renamed the TelnetLauncher_src.zip that was downloaded from the support web site to TelnetLauncher.zip in the Plugins folder (C:\Program Files\Segue\SilkCentral Test Manager 8.1\Plugins)

The log file is located in the Activities -> Results as seen below
