Why does the test definition last execution time differ to that of its assigned execution definitions last execution time in SilkCentral TestManager?

Why does the test definition last execution time differ to that of its assigned execution definitions last execution time in SilkCentral TestManager?

Problem:

Why does the test definition last execution time differ to that of its assigned execution definitions last execution time in SilkCentral TestManager?

Resolution:

In the “Assigned Test definitions” tab of the executions window users can see all test definitions that have been assigned to an execution definition. Sometimes the “last execution time” of the assigned test definition(s) may appear different to the last execution of the execution definition, this can be due to the following:

  • The test definition has been run-once via the Testplan tab
  • The test definition is assigned to more than one execution definition.
  • The time on the execution server is different from the time on the Front-end server. The last execution time of test definition is generated from the execution server.
