QUESTION
----------------------------------
Why is SilkCentral TestManager returning the error "The specified UNC path does not exist" when creating a UNC profile?

ANSWER
----------------------------------
The most likely cause of this error is that the folder specified on the UNC path genuinely does not exist. The folder must be created before the UNC source control can be created. It must also be shared.

A second cause of this error is that the user logged into SilkCentral TestManager does not have write privileges to the drive on which the UNC folder is being created.
