Bulk issues update function enquiry v16.0

Hello,

Wondering if there is a way to do a bulk update (or changes) to issues in Silk v16.0?

We need to update the status and closure statements for about 300 issues currently, and was wondering if we could do a bulk update in Silk for these issues ?

Hi Lynda,

Bulk Update for issues was introduced in Silk Central 18.0, and would not be available in Silk Central 16.0.

I would recommend upgrading to this version to get access to this and a lot of other new features included in later releases.

Thanks for your feedback. We are scheduled to upgrade to Silk Central v19 next month.

Wondering how we prepare or construct our upload issues data in advance to carry out the bulk issues update? Is there a report template or file upload available that we can generate or create for this ?

Hi Lynda,

If the issues are already in the database there would be no update or tasks to do to prepare the data.

Once Silk Central is upgraded the bulk update will be available.

Yes, the issues are already in the database, with various states.
Ok, will use the bulk update function after our v19 upgrade.
