Hi Everyone,
I am getting following error message while uploading test cases from excel file. I've tried to search for TestPropertiesDefaultMapping.xml file at location
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SilkCentral
\OfficeImportMappingFiles\testplan\TestPropertiesDefaultMapping.xml as given in the manual but there is no such folder in my system. I've also tried to upload test cases from different PC but i am still getting same error.
Can anyone help me in fixing this issue?
Thanks in advance š
Regards,
Sudhir

Hi Sudhir,
The mapping files are located at the location below on the machine on which Silk Central is installed (depending on the OS used):
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SilkCentral\OfficeImportMappingFiles\testplan (xp/win 2003)
or
C:\ProgramData\SilkCentral\OfficeImportMappingFiles\testplan (win 2008/win7)
Thanks
Michael

Hi Sudhir,
This error is similar to the one shown in the Knowledge Base article here
You will need to edit the mapping file so that the value for First Data Row is not 0 and is not the same as the Header Row value.
Thanks

Hi Michael,
Thanks for your reply. I have gone through the given knowledge base article. But my problem is that I am not able to locate TestPropertiesDefaultMapping.xml file in my computer.
Silk Central Test Manage is installed on a server at other location and we are accessing the application through web.
The path mentioned in the knowledge base refers to which machine? Is it the server where the SCTM is installed or our local machine?
Thanks
Sudhir
