Grouping Tests by folders
We have a project where we are grouping tests into different folders. When go to add them in an execution plan, we can select different folders and add the child tests from that folder. The problem is we have tests that are in different folders with the same name, when it is time to execute the tests, we don't know which folder the test came from. We loose the benefit of grouping tests into folders.
The obvious work around is to modify the names of the test cases to add a bit of info so we know which folder it came from. This is a downside to using folders under the Testing Silo. We loose the information of which folder the test is from. Is there another method that we are missing?
Thanks,
RB

Hi,
please take a look at SC 16.5 which was released two weeks ago - there we provide the folder information in several additional areas like the Manual Tests assigned to me panel. Additionally we made the folder structure availabel in the Manaual Execution Planning area for filtering.

Florian
