How to import test plan with attachment from Excel into Silk Central

Hello Team,

I tried to import the test plan from Excel into Silk Central (Silk Central Version  : 18.5.0.19).

All test cases are imported successfully.

But i want to add the images in the test cases. There is no option available in the mapping template.

Currently i am uploading the images manually after importing the test cases.

Please let me know how to import the test cases with attachments into Silk Central.

Hi Vishnuraj1175,

Images from Excel, which have an anchor in a certain cell, cannot be import with current Silk Central.

The only way how importing images from Excel works is if you have them as base64-encoded text in your cells. I do not think if that is what you want, as in Excel this would be not an image but text only, the cell content would like this:

I would suggest to create a request for enhancement via supportline.
