Integration of SCTM w/ Rally and Jira
[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 23 January 2011]
I was curious if anyone in the community has successfully integrated RALLY (agile project management tool) or JIRA with SCTM. I'm looking at some experiences and how it has played out. Thanks in advance for your response!

Hi,
for Rally there are two integration possibilities available at the moment. One that is similar to the CaliberRM integration and another one that uses a custom mashup in Rally.
Internally the first one is used - where the user story structure from Rally User Stories tab is synchronised to SCTM's requirements section. Then you can do all your test management in SCTM and cover your user stories with tests. Hence Rally will give you all information about your user stories and SCTM will give you the information about tests and test coverage.
Regarding Jira - there exists an issue tracking integration only at the moment.

Florian
