Jira Custom fields integrating with Silk Central/BIRT
Looking for help/support on how to pull through a custom field from Jira into SILK to allow us to include this information in a BIRT report. Currently we have a JIRA integration for issue management but we have a custom text field assigned to all our issues that we would like to display in a BIRT report when report on any issues.
Specifically - Our BIRT TCR report lists all of the outstanding issues but in additional to pulling through the status, priority and description we and we want to include a custom field named "Mitigation"in the report. The Mitigation information is populated manually in a text field in JIRA.
Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, custom fields respectively custom field values of external issue tracking systems are not stored in Silk Central's database. They only exist in the external issue tracking system.
In Silk Central, only a reference to the issue (in the external system) is stored in Silk Central's database table 'TM_Issues'. Actually, only some fields are stored there like issue synopsis, external issue-id, status and priority.
So you would have to request the values of your custom field named "Mitigation" via JIRA's REST API in your Birt report?
