Looking for a Way to Import Issues into SilkCentral Test Manager

Is there a process or tool to import Issues from an external source (such as excel or batch) into SilkCentral Issue Manager? We are working with an external vendor who uses a different system, and we need to be able to collect issues from them to import into SilkCentral Test Manager.

There is no "out of the box" method for importing issues from another tool such as Excel into SilkCentral Issue Manager.
It may be possible to automate the importation using either SilkTest or SilkPerformer but this will require some expertise with these products.

Has a workaround been found for this yet?  I'm also looking at trying to import issues from Excel into Silk Central.

Hi,

as already written does not exist any out of the box migration tool for issues.

But we provide web services (http://[server]:19120/services/scim?wsdl) for issue creation, which should allow a convenient migration of issues from another system.
