Problem logging into SilkTest Workbench: Error connecting to 'SCTMSTWBInt'

Hello,

I have yesterday installed SCTM  and I am trying to configure SCTM to run SilkTest Workbench VB.net scripts.

I get the error message Problem logging into SilkTest Workbench: Error connecting to 'SCTMSTWBInt' (0x8004021c).

I have found the http://kb.microfocus.com/display/4/kb/article.aspx?aid=32697 but that does not solve my problem since I am using an SQL Server 2008.

Any ideas?

Hi Nat,

What version of the SQL Server Native Client do you have installed on your system?

Can you go into your ODBC administrator and have a look at the SCTMSTWBInt DSN? Does this connect successfully through here if you use the credentials you entered when creating the SilkTest Workbench Source Control Profile in SCTM?

I would recommend that you log an official support incident with us via supportline.microfocus.com so that this issue can be properly investigated.

Thank you very much.

The version is 10.0.

Actually I checked that out in the ODBC administrator and the SCTMSTWBInt had not stored any credentials.

Don't know why.

I saved them manually and now it does seem to connect successfully.
