Project Baseline - Test asset versioning option?
[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 21 May 2012]
Hi!I'm about to create a baseline for the purpose of future audits, and I am uncertain what to select for the "Test asset versioning" option?
Are there any general rule of thumb here? Are there any typical uses for the two options ("Create new versions for all assets in original project" and "Create new versions for all assets in new baseline"?
Thanks in advance,
/Per

Hi,
those two option just help you to easily create a version across all manual test assets as some kind of marker for a baseline creation - otherwise you would have to do that for each manual test asset individually. So you will see in both projects (if both options have been selected) when the baseline has been created and will have a reference between the manual test assets.
