SCTM - activities view - column timestamp of finished run
[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 24 November 2011]
In the activities view - last executions currently the "Start Time" is shown and sortable as column. To be able to sort the last execution by the time when the run was finished, it would be very helpful for us to have that time available additional to the "Start Time" column. Our testmanagers want to review the results of the tests and so it would be comfortable for them to see the most recent finished executions at the top of the list.
The time of finishing an execution is stored in the database and i think it would be a quick win to add this column to the activities view.
Yours faithfully,

Hi,
As it currently stands the Executed On date/time is captured as the same time as the Start Date for all test types whether they are automated or manual. This is because the date/time is captured whenever the tests are set to be executed, for automated tests this is fine however manual tests may not be physically executed until later.
An enhancement request has been logged to improve this behaviour for manual tests in that the date/time at which a result was entered or the run finished should be captured as the Executed On date/time.
If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Thanks
Michael
