Schedule SilkTest run
Hi all,
We are new to Silk Central. We will install Silk Central in one machine, and the Execution Server will be on another machine where it currently has the Silk Test installed.
1) If we schedule a run of our Silk Test scripts at the midnight, do we need to turn off the screensaver and auto logoff in the Execution Server machine in order for the run to be successful? Can the machine be in logoff mode while the job is running?
2) While the job is running, can we sill remote desktop to the running machine?
Thank you,

Hi kkyy,
If you are doing any GUI level testing you would need an active desktop user session for this. This should be configured on the remote desktop so that the session is kept alive.
If there is issues with this due to internal IT policy you should add an action which keeps this session alive in your test case.
It would also be possible to view this test on the remote desktop machine whilst the test is running.
If you have any further questions let us know.
Thanks,
Matt
