Silk Test Workbench returned error 2: Failed to create the Silk Test COM object

Hi all,

I am using Silk Central 18.5 and when I want to run a Silk Test Workbench Test, it is not executed. This is error message that occurred:

Silk Test Workbench returned error 2: Failed to create the Silk Test COM object. Check that the COM object has been registered. Note that running Silk Test.exe registers the COM object.

Can anyone suggest me about this error?

Hi,
what version of Silk Test do you have installed on the execution server? Can you start Silk Test Workbench manually on the execution server?

Can you confirm that the test executes successfully when you run this using the STW.exe command on the execution server?

Example: STW.exe -d DSN_Name -u User_Name -p User_Password -s Script_Name
