can we synchronize silk Test results with silk Central result

Hi all,

when some tests fails from Silk Central we should debug scripts related to those tests from Silk Test. when debugging some scripts are passed and As we have a lot of tests we don't launch them from SCM because we consider that tests are OK. the problem is we should every time to modify manually the result of tests under silkCentral. My question is ; there is any way to synchronize results between ST and SCM or do export of result from ST and then import them from SCM ?

Thanks in advance for yours responses.

regards,

Anas.

RE: can we synchronize silk Test results with silk Central result

Hi Anas,

There is currently no export functionality in Silk Test, that would export the results to be uploaded in to Silk Central.

Currently it would work the other way, Silk Central would kick of the test and keep track of all the runs so that you build up that history overtime to compare results and runs.

In Silk Central you will also get a full set of logs to analyse the test in Silk Central, including adding screenshots on error, or video recording of the execution, which can be configured on the deployment tab.

You mention that the tests get failures that are not really considered to be failures, one way you could manage this in Silk Central is success conditions.

This means that you can set an error count for your script. If this error count is not reached the test passes, this can be used if you know your test has false positives in the results.

You can find more information about Success Conditions here:

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks,

Matthew
